I qualified as a doctor from Nottingham medical school in 2009.
After working in several different specialities in the UK and Australia, including as an emergency and paediatrics registrar, I began my GP training in Australia in 2013.
As a private practice GP I became more involved in dermatology – performing minor surgery to remove skin cancers and suspicious moles, and also removing benign skin lesions for cosmetic reasons.
I completed my training as a GP in Australia, and then moved back to the UK in 2016.
I found that I missed the minor surgical treatments that I did in Australia as a GP, and gave some thought as to what I could do alongside my General practice work. Aesthetics has always appealed to me, and I decided that I should pursue this further. I became an Aesthetics practitioner in March 2019.
I currently work in both General practice and Aesthetics.
I am continuing my Aesthetic medicine qualification to Masters degree level at present (Level 7 qualification), with the Harley Academy in London, in order to be able to offer an even wider range of treatments.
I am registered with the General medical council, and am insured to work in Aesthetics clinics anywhere in the UK with Hamilton Fraser.
